The Cambodia women’s national team will play two international friendlies in Indonesia as part of the FIFA Match Days programme, the Football Federation confirmed on 15 May 2026.
The fixtures will take place at Arcamanik Stadium in Bandung, with the hosts Indonesia scheduled for June 6, 2026 and Singapore following on June 9, 2026.
The short series is designed to give Cambodia competitive minutes against regional opponents and to test tactical plans ahead of the busy regional calendar later this year.

Fixtures Confirmed for June Friendlies

The upcoming matches are officially listed for June 6 and June 9, 2026 at Arcamanik Stadium in Bandung, Indonesia.
Cambodia will open against the Indonesian senior women’s team before meeting Singapore three days later at the same venue.
Both fixtures fall within FIFA’s designated international window, allowing national teams to assemble their best available players without club conflicts.

Venue and Matchday Arrangements

Arcamanik Stadium in Bandung will host both fixtures, offering a neutral but regional setting for the short tour.
The stadium’s facilities and the local organizing committee are expected to manage logistics for teams, training sessions, and matchday operations.
Playing in Bandung gives Cambodia exposure to different pitch conditions and crowd atmospheres than they would encounter at home in Phnom Penh.

Squad Selection and Coaching Priorities

Cambodia’s coaching staff are likely to use the friendlies to evaluate established players while testing emerging talent against regional rivals.
FIFA Match Days are a customary opportunity to finalise tactical frameworks, experiment with formations, and increase cohesion among players across domestic and overseas leagues.
For a developing programme, giving younger players competitive minutes can accelerate their readiness and broaden the coach’s selection pool.

Preparation Aims Ahead of Regional Competitions

The friendlies come at a strategic moment for Cambodia as regional tournaments and qualifying windows approach later in the year.
Match practice against Indonesia and Singapore will help the team address defensive shape, transition play, and set-piece execution under match pressure.
Coaching staff can measure progress, identify areas for targeted work, and adjust fitness programmes before continental and ASEAN competitions resume.

Regional Significance and Competitive Context

Matches with neighbours Indonesia and Singapore offer benchmarks against two differing styles of play within Southeast Asia.
Indonesia traditionally fields a physically robust side with strong numbers, while Singapore’s team often emphasizes organization and technical discipline.
These contrasts provide Cambodia with useful tests; adapting to varied opponents is crucial for any national side seeking to climb regional rankings.

Federation Planning and Public Engagement

The national federation has circulated promotional material and logistical notices to supporters and stakeholders ahead of the trip.
Publicity efforts typically include squad announcements, travel itineraries, and fan information once selections are finalised, helping maintain visibility for the women’s programme.
Fan engagement during FIFA Match Days can boost momentum for the team and raise the profile of women’s football domestically.

The two friendlies in Bandung represent a concise but important chapter in Cambodia’s 2026 campaign, offering practical match experience and development opportunities for players and coaches alike.
